Do you want your bathroom like this?
I am talking to men right now. Yes you are right, I am not talking to women but this is for men who are sometimes left on their own. I am not a bathroom fanatic but it is also good to know how you can take care of your house especially your bathroom and maintain its pristine condition.
There are times that my wife goes out with her friends for a day or two and I am left with my 3 kids and with no one to clean the house except me. So it’s really a must to know how to clean my house. Having three kids around the house with no one to help you is crazy. I have a 2 year old who vomits every time he doesn’t feel like eating the food. My 6-year-old daughter would usually ask me to help her take a bath and wash her after pooping. My eldest son helps me in making sure that his sister and his small brother are all in one place. After giving them a bath in the morning, the bathroom looks like it has been hit by a hurricane. Toys are on the floor, shampoo spilled on the tile, soap under that bathtub and sponge on top of the sink.
Cleaning the bathroom is a bit of a challenge for me. I don’t like touching the toilet knowing that this is where we dump those toxic waste inside our body. If you’re eating right now, hold on to your food as we finish this article. But I have to do this intentionally. I love my wife and sometimes I like her to go out with her friends and breathe some fresh air.
Knowing these steps will make your wife love you more. If you have a broken tile and you need to retile, you need to have a diamond blade to help you with that job. That will be on a different article so keep on reading our blogs for more interesting updates and DIY projects.

- Prepare the following items: tile brush, sponge, detergent and liquid disinfectant.
- For walls, you can start from top to bottom. Wet the sponge and start wiping the tile with the soap. Use the brush if there are hard to remove smudges and dirt.
- Next is the toilet bowl. I know this is the most challenging part but you have to do it. Clip your nose to avoid smelling foul odor. Apply the detergent and wet your brush. Scrub the inside of the toilet bowl. Wipe the outside part of the bowl and the tank using the sponge and the soap.
- Last part that you will need to clean is the floor and your tub if needed. After brushing and wiping the tile, you can now apply the disinfectant to prevent bacteria and other germs from growing inside your bathroom.
- Wipe the floor, tub, sink and the toilet with dry rugs. You can put an electric fan to make sure that everything is dried to avoid slippery floors.
